Merlin Electronic Puzzle Game Review:
My 7 year old daughter has as much fun with the Merlin Electronic Puzzle Game as I did when I was a kid. Everyone loves to play Tic Tac Toe against Merlin, even Pa-Paw enjoys playing Merlin. I love that it helps my daughter with simple addition when playing Blackjack against Merlin. It also teaches her some logic and deduction in the puzzle games.
Also, she really has to pay attention and listen to play the game where you repeat the note patterns. I feel alot better paying this amount of money for an educational electronic game than paying a hundred or two or three hundred dollars for an electronic game that will likely be obsolete in 30 years.
It is a good “machine” although you need to keep in a certain position (angle) in order to visualize the numbers. One missing feature is that it does not tell you which game number you are playing, so after a while you may playing the same game over and over. Overall it does meet the purpose.
Our original traffic jam game is pure bumper-to-bumper enjoyment and the most popular product we’ve ever created. Players set up the traffic on a game grid to match one of 40 playing cards, then try to maneuver the red car to escape the gridlock.
love these cards! My single complaint is that their quality could be better. The card stock is too light and the plastic coating is barely noticeable. That aside, these are very challenging and entertaining mind puzzels. All of the cards have an added bonus to remember a specific detail about the picture on the card or some type of associated question.
There must be a newer model because there is absolutely no problem in seeing the numbers. I have tried two other hand held sudoku games and this is far better. The note store feature allows you to store candidates that flash to remind you what’s what. That feature takes a little getting used to as it is not the same as written notes but after a few games I loved it.
am a guidance counselor in a middle school and have a number of “toys” to distract the children when they come to my office and help them unwind a bit. Some enjoy this puzzle by just building their own creations and others enjoy the challenge of completing one of the puzzles on the cards. This is easily one of their favorites and has stayed on my table the longest as there are so many possibilities and it lends itself well to their creativity as each of the pieces is completely different from the rest. The students really enjoy it and it makes their visits more enjoyable.
as a child an remember the many hours of fun thst I had with it. I could not resist buying it for my granddaughters. It challemges the mind, and enables you to solve a “puzzle” without help of a computer.
ow how to solve Ruben cube, and more importantly, how to find a solution to Ruben cube, this puzzle is much easier. Still it can take about half an hour to come with a complete solution. So it is a fun. The common thing it shares with Ruben cube is that both are about finite permutation groups. Searching for a solution usually starts with repetitative application of a fix permutation, which would equal identity. Then perturb the permutation a bit to get a simple generator of the group.
reat jigsaw puzzle game. The feature I like best is taking an image of my computer wallpaper and making a puzzle out of it. I also made a puzzle out of a picture of my husband and myself. The game has trays that you can use to get pieces out of the way. You can also select multiple pieces at a time and move them all at once. Lots of fun.
