V.Flash Controller

V.Flash Controller Review: Purchased this joystick so a second player can participate in the VTECH Flash games. There is nothing wrong with the joystick, it works fine. It is easy to use and we love the versatility of it because it is made to accomodate left and right handed people. Which is why we gave it a 5 star review. HOWEVER, when using this joystick as a second player, it was not as we expected.

We were hoping the two players could play simultaneously and interact with each other’s characters while playing games. That isn’t the case. Only one person plays at a time. So, interest is easily lost when waiting for a player to complete the game. This is no fault of the joystick. However, my kids (ages 6 and 4) won’t use this joystick as a second player because either way, they are waiting to take a turn and as I stated eariler, ineterest is lost. So, if you are considering this as a buy for the second player option, it may not be worth your money.

Alex Toys Car Valet

Alex Toys Car Valet Review: This valet has two removable crayon/pencil zippered pouches at the top, net pockets below, and a large plastic pocket which can accommodate a drawing pad etc. It closes with a zipper and has a front transparent pocket suitable for favorite photos/drawings and the like. It is made of soft bendable plastic, which seems safe enough. The down side of this is that the drawing/valet side is too soft to rest arms/hands on.

The back side of the valet is of the same soft material, and got torn a few weeks after I bought it. The zipper is of poor good quality and gets stuck a lot, and requires frequent intervention by an adult. The valet is attached onto the front seat by means of two straps that hug the seat using velcro. This looks ugly, is irritating to the person seated in the front seat, and it would not stay put in my vehicle. Overall, my son loved this item while it lasted. I like the idea, but the design is poor and the materials are cheap. Unlike the price.

Are We There Yet

Are We There Yet Review: I bought two of these books for my 9-year old and 12-year old daughters. They kept both of them entertained for two 5 hours rides with more left. My older daughter especially enjoyed searching for different license plates and checking them off in the book. I’d definitely recommend this book for older kids for a road trip.

Are We There Yet Review: This is a great book for long car trips or just to play at home. Some activities include:mini-mysteries, mazes, crossword puzzles, where to find this, coloring pages, car bingo and many, many other fun activities.Rand Mcnally is a great activity book company.I suggest getting this book, and SOON!

Mario Super Sluggers

Mario Super Sluggers Review: This was a gift for my grandson who is 14 and enjoys electronic games. He likes it a lot, much more than other ones he already have. He was expecting to have it since other friends have the same game and they were overly happy with it.

Mario Super Sluggers Review: This game is super Mario fun, and I love the characters the super swings the super piches, the last second point and everything about It. But, it’s realy hard to do a charge swing because you have to do a perfect hit, at a perfect time and pray that you don’t get a out and get a home run. Also, the challenge kinda sucks; you have to find characters and do a scout mission to unlock them and then face Bowser Jr. to unlock the baseball field. But, I will say you should get it for hours of fun.

Active Life Outdoor Challenge

Active Life Outdoor Challenge Review: I’m a 46 year old mom and have been using the Wii Fit for over 6 months. As much as I love my Wii Fit, the Wii Outdoor Challenge is a great addition to give you some variety. It’s a great way to exercise. This is like being in a video game where your body movements control the screen action. No confusing button combinations and you don’t need to be a video game expert to use it. Everyone in my family from the kids (15-24), to mom and dad, and grandma all use and love it.

You can add the minutes you spend on the Wii Outdoor Challenge into your Wii Fit log if you’re keeping track of your exercise time and you can use your favorite Mii for both games. Although each game is great on its own, I’d recommend both the WiiFit and Wii Outdoor Challenge for anyone trying to get into or stay in shape. It’s cheaper than a gym membership and much more fun & convenient.

LEGO Batman

LEGO Batman Review: We all love playing this game and my 5 yr old son received it for his birthday as he had been wanting it after seeing it on tv. He loves playing this game and of course gets everyone else to help him get all his guys unlocked and we all get involved in playing it and don’t want to give it back to him haha. This is a fun great game as well as the indiana jones one he received also.

LEGO Batman Review: Maybe you have the trusty PlayStation 2 and are unwilling to shell out a car payment or two to for the PlayStation 3. Fear not! They are still releasing new games for the PS2 and one of the latest is Lego Batman.

LCR Dice Game

LCR Dice Game Review: This is a fun party game that can be played with adults or children, or a mixture of both. My 8 year old thinks it is such fun. Add a little incentive to the game and play with coins or dollar bills instead of the chips.

LCR Dice Game Review: We purchased this game on a recommendation of a friend for a family reunion. We had so much fun. Everyone could play it from five to seventy five. We used bigger chips then the ones that came with the game as we needed more for such a large group.

Hasbro Electronic Hyper Slide

Hasbro Electronic Hyper Slide Review: I got this for my grandson’s birthday. He turned 8 and it took a while just to get the packaging off the game, but once we did the fun began. He and his mom played it, he played it alone, I played it alone and I suspect it will get played a lot more tonight when everyone gets home. Great game for most ages. If they can recognize colors and follow the verbal directions, then they can play this game.

Hasbro Electronic Hyper Slide Review: My 7 year old son got this for Christmas this year and my husband and I love it as much as he does. Not only have we played against each other but we enjoy playing it on our own, it is rather addictive. It is small and compact enough to fit in our luggage that we plan to take it with us to Maine for our family reunion this summer. This is the perfect game to have on hand for rainy days or for when the kids complain they are bored. You honestly can’t go wrong with this game, I plan to give this as birthday presents this year for all my son’s friends.

Bas-Ket Skill and Action Game

Bas-Ket Skill and Action Game Review: I played this game as a kid and was so excited to see it re-introduced! This game can be VERY addicting. It does require some skill to shoot the ball just right and there are tons of laughs to go around when the ball doesn’t roll where you want it to. Great game to play with the kids or other adults great way to play a lively interactive game that provides opportunity for real interaction with your opponent.

Bas-Ket Skill and Action Game Description: Bas-ket is the classic basketball game that’s been around for 50 years! Flipping the ball into the basket will entertain kids for hours. It’s true basketball excitement packed into a miniature court. For one or more players.
