Illuminated Touch Screen Sudoku Puzzle Game

Illuminated Touch Screen Sudoku Puzzle Game Review: There must be a newer model because there is absolutely no problem in seeing the numbers. I have tried two other hand held sudoku games and this is far better. The note store feature allows you to store candidates that flash to remind you what’s what. That feature takes a little getting used to as it is not the same as written notes but after a few games I loved it.

The other thing I like about it is you can enter your own puzzles from books or the newspaper and play them on the handheld Using the stylus is easy and convenient. I have played hard puzzles on the model now and had to use extensive notes and it worked great. I certainly recommend it.

ThinkFun Block By Block

ThinkFun Block By Block Review: I am a guidance counselor in a middle school and have a number of “toys” to distract the children when they come to my office and help them unwind a bit. Some enjoy this puzzle by just building their own creations and others enjoy the challenge of completing one of the puzzles on the cards. This is easily one of their favorites and has stayed on my table the longest as there are so many possibilities and it lends itself well to their creativity as each of the pieces is completely different from the rest. The students really enjoy it and it makes their visits more enjoyable.

ThinkFun Block By Block Review: At first my 7 year old had a bit of difficulty with the concept, but once she figured it out, she loves it! The idea is to use the cube combos that come in the package to make the designed printed on the cards that come with the set. It sounds easy, but it is rather challenging. It builds spatial perception and logical thinking in a game.

LeapFrog Electronic Flash Magic Flash Cards

LeapFrog Electronic Flash Magic Flash Cards Review: This was given to my 5 and 6 year olds who already knew some addition groups (doubles, +0, +1, +2). The toy did not give them sufficient time to select the correct answer. Instead of letting them press in the numbers, they have to watch a list of numbers go quickly by, pressing a button when they see the correct answer.

This is not sufficient because there is no “think” time in which to come up with the answer themselves since they have to watch a lot of wrong answers go by. My one-year-old likes it because it beeps alot.

Playskool Wheel Pals Triple Track Tower

Playskool Wheel Pals Triple Track Tower Review: My two year old grandson opened the wheel pals triple track tower and loved it. He put the cars on the tower hit the button and clapped as they came down the ramp couldnt of had a better present for christmas.

Playskool Wheel Pals Triple Track Tower Review: This was a gift for our 18 month old son during the holidays. I decided to purchase the Playskool Wheel Pals Triple Track Tower because it was rated high on the Today Show and in Parent’s Magazine for toddlers 18-24 months. Our son loves this toy, and has played with it more often than any of the other gifts he received this year. It is simple for him to use, has matching car and track colors, and makes fun car noises. I would recommend this toy to any parent who has a child in this age range.

Pixar Cars

Pixar Cars Review: These are fun little collectibles.  After dealing with the Thomas The Tank recall I am somewhat leery of the product safety so have my son wash his hands after playing with them. They are great for imaginative play and ever so fun!

Pixar Cars Review: We own the Piston Cup 500 race track. By far, Sally is the fastest moving car for the track. These little die cast cars are durable and comparable to hotwheels.

Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel

Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel Review: Great classic game. Much better than NES or DS. Bought one for my 28 year old son and one for my 8 year old grandsons. They love it. I’m not so good at it. Need an extra Wii wheel with it for each player.

Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel Review: While not the best thing to look at in the graphics department (especially during multiplayer races), this game manages to be extremely fun. The control scheme(s) are great, and while I am better when using the Wiimote/nunchuch scheme, I find myself wanting to use the Wii Wheel most often because it adds to the fun. The bottom line here is that everyone can enjoy this game, and the multiplayer never gets old. The best thing I can say about this game is that I will be playing it for as long as I own a Wii. A definite must buy for the Wii.

Playhut 3-in-1 Sports Arcade

Playhut 3-in-1 Sports Arcade Review: I thought this was a great toy for my two grandchildren who are 2-1/2 years old when they visit me. What a big disappointment. The balls never return to me they get stuck near the opening. When you throw them at the openings with the flap they never go through because the balls are to light and the flap stays in place. My granddchildren enjoyed climbing into it and just playing with the balls. I folded it up and returned it.

Playhut 3-in-1 Sports Arcade Review: This toy was fun while it lasted. It never stood up as nice as the picture shows it was always falling over and you had to prop it up against something. The kids liked it but my husband and I did not. They were always asking us to fix it! Wouldn’t recommend. We only had it for 9months and it was sent to the trash after it ripped.

ThinkFun Fifteen Puzzle

ThinkFun Fifteen Puzzle Review: I had ths “toy”as a child an remember the many hours of fun thst I had with it. I could not resist buying it for my granddaughters. It challemges the mind, and enables you to solve a “puzzle” without help of a computer.

ThinkFun Fifteen Puzzle Review: I was absolutely elated to get this game. First, it has been years since I’ve played it. More young people need to be exposed to it. The steel case makes it durable so it’s impervious to lots of wear and tear. The case protects it from damage too. I really enjoy this game, and I plan on buying one for each of the little kids and the big ones in my household.
